Tell Me Your Vision
Share what you'd like painted - whether it's your horse, dog, or another subject. Think about how you want them portrayed in their portrait

Make Your Selections
Decide on size, framing, and add-ons to make the piece uniquely yours. A detailed quote will be provided for your approval.

Secure Your Spot
To reserve your place on the waitlist, a 50% deposit and signed contract are required. Once the deposit is paid, travel for reference photos will be arranged.

Creating Your Painting
Once you approve the reference, high-quality materials will be ordered, the composition will be finalized, and painting begins!

Delivery
Once complete, your artwork will be ready to hang and treasure for a lifetime. Local pickup, delivery, and shipping are available depending on your location.

Capturing the perfect reference photo is the foundation of every custom painting I create. High-quality images allow me to accurately depict the personality, details, and unique features, ensuring your painting is as lifelike and meaningful as possible.
To achieve this, a tailored photography session is included in your commission pricing.
• Local Sessions: Any location within 30 miles of my studio is included at no additional charge.
• Extended Travel (over 30 miles): For locations over 30 miles away, travel is billed at the IRS standard mileage rate, currently $0.725 per mile
• Extended Travel: If the drive exceeds 2.5 hours from my studio, hotel accommodations will be billed at actual cost.
• Flights: Locations requiring air travel will be billed at the actual flight cost, plus hotel accommodations will be billed at actual cost.
I’m happy to travel and always aim to make the process smooth and enjoyable. My goal is to ensure we capture the perfect images to bring your custom painting to life!
All travel distances and times are calculated from the studio address in Wilmington, NC (zip code 28412).
Reasonable Travel Costs: Hotel and flight costs will be billed at actual cost. “Reasonable” refers to standard, mid-range accommodations and economy flights unless otherwise requested.
